Brendan Fraser was reportedly injured while filming his upcoming film Journey 3-D in Montreal.
The Mummy star was supposedly rehearsing a stunt when he burned his hands. A medic treated 37-year-old Fraser, but a spokesperon for the actor confirmed he suffered only a minor injury.
The film that Fraser was shooting is a remake of Jules Verne's classic Journey to the Center of the Earth and costars Icelandic beauty Anita Briem. A number of Verne's novels have been adapted to film, including 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea and Around the World in 80 Days.
Next up for Fraser could be a larger role, literally, as he is rumoured to be in top contention to star in the next Incredible Hulk film. The film bosses, who are looking to replace Eric Bana after he reportedly turned down reprising his role, are rumoured to be debating between Fraser and Prison Break star Dominic Purcell to fill the big green shoes.

The producers of The Last Time, a comedy-drama costarring Michael Keaton and Brendan Fraser, suspended production immediately once mandatory evacuation orders were issued Sunday by New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin.
"While the production has incurred some extra expense as a result of the delay caused by the continuing executive order preventing us from reentering New Orleans, more importantly, we are happy that our cast and crew are safe," says a statement from producer Adam Rosenfelt, president of Element Films, the company overseeing production. Michael Keaton and Brendan Fraser have signed on to star in the movie "The Last Time" for Element Films. Michael Caleo wrote the script and will make his directorial debut with the film. "The Last Time" follows the story of a cynical salesman (Keaton) who falls hard for his partner's fiance. Fraser will play the partner who has just made the big move from small town life to the fast-paced world of New York. According to Element Films, principal photography will take place in New Orleans and New York. Filming is expected to begin sometime in August 2005.
